MicroWebFab, established in 2003, is a close cooperation of medium-sized companies. Each of the partners in this network is a specialist in one or more sectors of industry and has, over the years, shifted the focus of parts of its operations to microsystems technology. These partners have now combined their product development expertise and their microproduction capacities in order to collectively offer new system services on the market.

Reiner GmbH & Co KG with headquarters in Furtwangen in the Black Forest, is a leading medium-sized company that specializes in banking technology (stamps, scanners, data processing). It contributes its precision technology competencies (micromachining, replication, plastic and metal injection molding) to the network.

MicroCoat Biotechnologie GmbH situated on Lake Starnberg, is a specialist in solid phase chemistry, as well as in immune and nucleic acid diagnostics. Microcoat also produces its own assays and kits. Diagnostics and equipment validation play a decisive role in the services it offers.

I-Sys Automationstechnik GmbH focuses its core operations on developing and producing components for process automation. These include complex parts for other manufacturers' systems, as well as complete systems predominantly for optical quality assurance and handling techniques. In addition to specializing in automation technology, it has focused its activities on the production of microcomponent prototypes for over ten years.

The engineering alliance, Gengenbach-Dickerhof Ingenieurgemeinschaft, has broad expertise in microtechnology consulting and project management. In addition, it coordinates the joint development, marketing and sales activities within the MicroWebFab network.

ACI-ecotec GmbH develops and builds automation systems and special machines for fabrication of customized products. These systems automate complex process steps such as assembly procedures, joining techniques, and measuring and testing procedures.
